Dear Xilinx SerDes Expert.
When I review the DC report, there are two differenct things for GTY spec. (0.85V, speedgrade -1, XCZU11EG-1FF1716I)
In the V1.16(July,2019), DS925, the spec is 9.8 to 12.5bps using QPLL0 (DIV1). However, in the recent version(v1.17, march, 2020), DS925, the spec for GTY is from 9.8 to 16.375 using QPLL0.
According to the recent datasheet, the range for GTY is upgraded. Is it right?? or this is typo??
Since, we will use the JESD204B at 14Gbps. However, the tool for JESD is not working at 14Gbps, even thought the GTY is upgraded.
Could you give us which is right and why JESD204B IP is not making the IP at 14Gbps.
Thanks and Regrads,
Sun

Hello Sun @sunkim
I am not a Forum moderator, so could you please accept my previous asnwer as a solution ?.
BTW, Vivado 2020.1 will have update on JESD PHY GUI, so GUI will correctly limit the line-rate setting to avoid confusion.
Thanks
Leo

Hello @sunkim
I cannot find your device model in the default Vivado 2019.2, So, I used xczu11eg-ffvc1760-1-i instead.
Confirmed that I am able to generate JESD204B_PHY and JESD204 IP with 14Gbps line-rate without any issue.
Are you using Vivado 2019.2 version ?
Thanks & regards

Dear Xilinx SerDes Engineers.
Even though the 14Gbps is OK on the GUI, they cannot synthesize the IP. I guess that the limitation is 12.5G bps for -1(speedgrade).
Could you try to make the JESD204B IP again?
Thanks,
Sun

Hello @sunkim
Okay, let me try to reproduce.
I will give you a feedback on this.
Thanks

Hello Sun @sunkim
It seems that you are correct that JESD204B cannot be generated with line-rate above 12.5Gbps.
I found in PG198 that only 12.5 Gbps is supported. So, current GUI behavior is expected.
Digging deeper into this topic, I found that Line-rate above 12.5Gbps is only supported with user data width above 64,
While JESD204B PHY is using GTY with user width=32, max supported line-rate is 12.5Gbps.
Thanks & regards

Hi, Leo.
I can understand clearly. Could you close this issue.
thanks,
