Hi @chailei1992

From the screenshot of the Settings Window it looks like you are using Vivado 2017.x with which Modelsim 10.4c is not compatible version. Which Vivado version you are using? Refer below link, page 18 for compatible modelsim version with 2017.3:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2017_3/ug973-vivado-release-notes-install-license.pdf

Try with compatible version and let us know if you see the same error. I hope you must have followed the correct steps for simulation in third party tool standalone.

1)Compile simulation libraries.

2) Run export_simulation command to generate the simulation scripts to be used with third party tools.

3) Open Modelsim standalone and source the .do file generated.

For more information on this, please refer below link, chapter 7 page 151:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2017_2/ug900-vivado-logic-simulation.pdf

Regards

Rohit

Hi @chailei1992,

Which version of Vivado are you using?

If it is 2017.3 then you need to use ModelSim 10.6b or later and generate the compiled libraries for this version.

This is documented in User Guide 973.
