Is there any default configuration file similar to modelsim.ini for Vivado?

Jump to solution

Hello,

I'm tired to set manually everything when I generate Example design or setting up the simulator adding `-32` in every vlog/com.. and so on; either in the GUI or TCL.

Is there any default tcl/config file that will be used to configure all the new projects?

Thank you.

Hi @alexis_jp ,

There isn't a default config file for Simulation thats an equivalent to modelsim.ini, but there is the vivado_init.tcl file that is read when Vivado starts and can be used to set default parameters and switches.

You can find further information on this in UG894:

Best Regards
Aidan
