Re: problem launching modelsim with vivado 2013.4

Could I ask you whether it is possible that the reason is the modelsim I used is "Modelsim PE Student Edition" ?

It has confused me a long time  :<

Thank you!

Re: problem launching modelsim with vivado 2013.4

Hi,

If i am reading the error message correctly, it is saying that the student edition only supports a single language.

That means there is no mixed language support. What you can do is to change the Simulator Language Setting to the single language you have and it should work..

See documentation on how to do that here:

http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2013_4/ug900-vivado-logic-simulation.pdf

Search for Simulator Language..

Thanks

Duth

Re: problem launching modelsim with vivado 2013.4

See my reply to your post on how you can workaround it:

Or
Use Vivado Simulator!
