Schematic and Implemented device viewer cannot be fullscreen on secondary display

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have found an annoying bug in Vivado:

Schematic and Implemented device viewer cannot be fullscreen on secondary display

To reproduce:

  1. Open a Schematic
  2. "Float" the schematic viewer.
  3. Move the floated window to your secondary monitor.
  4. Click on "Maximaze"

Problem:

The floated window dissapeares. (It can be found in the taskbar, as secondary window of Vivado, but it is unvisible.)

I use:

  • Win10 Pro
  • Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362
  • Vivado 2017.4

Hi @betontalpfa ,

This was a known issue in 2017.4, it has been fixed in 2018.1 and later versions of the tools.

Best Regards
Aidan
