Vivado crashes when creating new SystemVerilog file

I created a new file to insert some simulation related code to an existing design.

I suppose this bug is not really reproducible, but there is a Java stack dump

which hopefully helps Xilinx to improve their product and to avoid those crashes in

Re: Vivado crashes when creating new SystemVerilog file

Hi @haver

I guess you need to upgrade your OS from RHEL 6.4 to at least 6.6 or 6.7.

Would you refer the following support OS information ?

AR #54242

It doesn't make sense in AR #54242.

Could Xilinx employee make sure it ?

RHEL 6.6 - 6.9

CentOS 6.7 - 6.9

Best regards,

Re: Vivado crashes when creating new SystemVerilog file

Thanks for making me aware that I was using an old OS installation. I will talk to our IT folks if they can update the OS level.
