"libXSimICR.dll missing" error message using cosim within vivado HLS

Received the following message in a dialog box when performing cosimulation with XSIM selected (based on rtl_verification lab2 detailed in UG871 -see figure showing selection within the cosim dialog box from within vivado hls)::

(xelab.exe System Error dialog box)  (See figure attached showing the error dialog box)

"The program can't start because libXSimICR.dll is missing from your compuer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I installed the latest release (2014.1) and see the same issue as the previously installed release 2013.4.

My current environment set up is:

Windows 7 ultimate, service pack1, 64-bit OS

Running vivado_hls version 2014.1

Specifically have the rtl_verification lab2 open.

Regards

Re: "libXSimICR.dll missing" error message using cosim within vivado HLS

Try to open Vivado and open any of the Example Projects in it and run Simulation. See if you are getting the same error message?

Re: "libXSimICR.dll missing" error message using cosim within vivado HLS

Thanks for the input.

Performed simulation within Vivado, using Example Project "7-series webpack BFT core".  The simulation worked correctly w/o any error messages.

Also performed simulation with the Zynq Example project, from within Vivado, but received the following licensing error (perhaps you could lead me in the correct direction to resolve this issue too other than contacting the FAE).

FATAL_ERROR: License for using AXI BFM could not be checked out. Please contact a Xilinx FAE to resolve the problem.
BFM Xilinx: License failed for Xilinx_AXI_BFM, version 2010.100000
$finish called at time : 0 fs
run: Time (s): cpu = 00:00:00 ; elapsed = 00:00:05 . Memory (MB): peak = 1049.082 ; gain = 0.000

On an additional note, I installed 2014.1 on a computer with Windows XP, 32-bit, and had no issues with cosimulation within vivado_hls as oulined in the original post.

Regards

Re: "libXSimICR.dll missing" error message using cosim within vivado HLS

Looks to be an OS dependent issue.
Windows 7 professional & Win XP works fine but Win 7 Ultimate doesnt appear in the list of our supported OS. That may be the root of this issue.
