MGT_AVCC and VCCINT with 2 different DC-DC converters

Jump to solution

I am designing a board with a Spartan 6 LXT device. I am using 2 different 1.2 V DC-DC converters for the MGT supply (MGT_AVCC) and VCCINT instead of only 1 DC-DC converter. This would probably lead to slightly different voltages (considering the ripples for 2 voltage regulators) on the MGT_AVCC and VCCINT lines. I wanted to make sure these 2 power lines are functioning independently and using 2 on-board voltage regulators instead of 1 voltage regulator would not cause problems for differential signaling and such.
