Problem with EDK in Overclocking Spartan 3e

I'm new to edk but I have a question with the xparameters.h file. It says-
#define XPAR_CPU_CORE_CLOCK_FREQ_HZ 100000000.
During the GUI iBSB I specifically said 50Mhz because thats the highest rate for the Spartan 3e.
My Programs havent been working with 8.2.  I had no warnings or errors.
My buddy had 9.1 so I used his and everything works now. The warning appears in the newer version.
Is this the problem?

Re: Problem with EDK in Overclocking Spartan 3e

No, it's shouldn't be any problems.
It can be a problem is some device drive/application is using this define to calculate some delays or baudrate.
But if everything works fine, then it should be fine.
