Spartan 6 45T + XCF16P - Configuration won't load in parallel mode.

The circuit is designed as stated in UG380 to support 8 bit parallel configuration loading. However it only actually loads in single bit serial mode. Can anybody suggest a reason for this please e.g. are there any special software settings/option required? (Tools are ISE14.7.)

There are different configuration modes are listed in UG380. Please specify which diagram are you looking?

Re: Spartan 6 45T + XCF16P - Configuration won't load in parallel mode.

Hi,

Our implementation is based on the configuration mode described on pages 30 through 32 of UG380 v2.91.

The FPGA Mode pins are both connected to 0V.

The FPGA is running in Master mode using a 25 MHz external crystal oscillator as the clock source instead of the on-chip clock.
