XC6SLX45-2FGG484CES - temperature range and stock availability

Jump to solution

Some distributors told me that XC6SLX45-2FGG484CES is an obsolete part.. when i asked them why? its a new series chip.. they just said to refer this question to Xilinx..

now, im wondering will there be more production of exactly these chips AND with Industrial temperature range? because this one has range from 0 deg to 85 deg.

also... if im correct this chip, and Industrial version of it (all temp. range) are pin-by-pin compatible, right?

As Bob pointed out the Engineering Silicon phase is over so there is no reason why anyone would want to order this part any longer.  You wanted to order either of these

XC6SLX45-2FGG484C  - Commercial

XC6SLX45-2FGG484I  - Industrial

And yes, everything is identical between the commercial and industrial version except for the guaranteed operating temperature range.

The CES suffix marks it as a pre-production engineering sample.  The LX45 is in full production, no CES parts are orderable.
