Jump to solution

Hi.

What is the matter of an error:

ERROR:Xst:872 - "module_v.v" line 85: Unsupported target

?

I didn't find  a record in the Answer Database...

This is my  module:

76                     phy_level #                                                  //used module name
77                          (
78                          .NO_OF_LANES (NO_OF_LANES ),
79                          .NO_OF_GTP_DUALS (NO_OF_GTP_DUALS ),
80                          .NO_OF_INTERTRIGGERS (NO_OF_INTERTRIGGERS ),
81                          .PLL_DIVSEL_FB (PLL_DIVSEL_FB ),

83                          .CLK25_DIVIDER (CLK25_DIVIDER )
84                           )
85                    phy_level                                                       //Instance name
86                           (

are you missing a ";" after line 84

probably your code must look like this

82                          .PLL_DIVSEL_REF (PLL_DIVSEL_REF ),
83                          .CLK25_DIVIDER (CLK25_DIVIDER )
84                           );    // you are missing a semicolon here.
85                    phy_level

                                 //Instance name
86                           (
....               //Table of module ino

regards.

No, there mustn't be a semicolon after parameter list.

I know this is a little old topic, but I agree that the searching on the Xilinx website is really bad.  I am also looking for that AR and I searched the exact number and the search didn't find it, it only found this forum post in the search results.  You can also google AR 20433 the first result is the direct link.  To solve this go directly to the answer record.  All you need to do is just modify the URL directly.  For example "http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/20433.htm"  Just replace 20433 with whatever AR you want
