IP protection

Hello, 

When I generate an encrypted edif file, it can be use in several devices. 

As a ip vendor company, we need to block this netlist to only one device. 

Do you have any way to protect that ?

Hi @araymond77 ,

It is not easy to move netlists across families beause of differences between families, more hardened resources,  respective datasheet specifications for physical resources that differ between families and speed grades, etc.

I am not qouting on that, but as per my understanding there is yet no feature for encrypting design to a specific device.

You can either go for Bitstream encryption. Please check whether this is what you are looking for:

For ultrascale devices:
