Multiple Drivers Issue

Jump to solution

I can't seem to fix this "multiple driver" error.

It seems "const0" is driven by BUFR_inst/O, dac/MOSI_reg/Q & GND so perhaps if I remove the ground, then it would go away but its a read-only vhd file in system.bd

The collision could be that signal exp_2 is an output and your DAC_Handler wants to output to the same port.

Is this issue fixed, were you able to proceed. At first instance this looks false message.

If not , you could debug why dac/MOSI_reg D pin is connected to GND. Does it have dont_touch or keep applied on output of flop or flop itself.

Also, is it possible to share design for someone in factory to take a look.

Show us the source, not the synthesized. That only reflects the error. And the error is to be fixed in vhdl/verilog

'multiple drivers' are usually easy.  What is confusing is the error message that points you somewhere else. Seen that many times, not surprised.
