Reading a frame

Hello All,

  I want to write a Vhdl code that reads a frame and I want to store data that are placed in specific position in the frame, How can I do it?

Where will the frame be read from, and where is the data being stored to?


If it's being read from RAM then an AXI Master will do what you want, since it'll allow you to select a specific region without reading the whole image.


If it's coming from a camera, you'll need to count rows/columns in the stream to catch the correct section.

@crazyece91 you didn't give us enough information for a meaningful answer. After you figure out where the frame will come from and how it will arrive, you just wait and catch the data in which you're interested.
