Unable to start Synthesis with remote host with Vivado 2020.2, remains queued

Hi

I'm trying to get a synthesis/implementation server to work. However I can't make work properly. It gets stuck at "Queued" and I can't find any error message in logs

Both systems run Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and Vivado 2020.2. Console was configured to be "bash" and remote host tests run correctly.

How I can find more information from the server side?

Thanks

Hi @coldfiremc

How are you submitting synthesis and implementation runs to the server? please share the exact steps
Is this happening with only one project or with other projects as well? ( you can quickly generate an example design to test this )

I would suggest you create a  cluster configuration:- Vivado Design Suite User Guide: Implementation (UG904) (xilinx.com)
and then submit the runs by selecting the cluster while launching

The idea was to avoid creating a cluster...

I finally managed to get some things running. I didn't run settings64.sh at the correct time. Now OOC runs pretty well. However synthesis gets stuck at "Generating scripts" stage with no apparent reason. How I can check what's happening here?

Hi @coldfiremc
Could you check the synth directory, what files are generated there?
And what do you see in the log window in vivado?
