3 DNA resources available

Hello,

 

When trying to use to instantiate "DNA_PORTE2" primitive, I can see that there is 3 "DNA_PORTE2" primitives available on VU9P FPGA:

So I try to implement 3 "DNA_PORTE2" on a test design and I discovered that the 3 instances point on the same location (information from the graphical view on Vivado 2017.1).

 

Can you confirm that the DNA is unique by device and that the 3 primitives point to the same DNA unique id ?

Each device contains a single unique, 96-bit, embedded, device identifier (device DNA).

FPGA designs can access the DNA internally through a Device DNA Access Port, there is one DNA_PORTE2 in one SLR. 

Since VU9P has 3 SLRs, there are 3 DNA_PORTE2 primitives in the device.

The available value in Util report is correct. 

 

DNA_PORTE2 is only the channel to visit DNA. It's expected to have same DNA unique id.
