ISERDESE3/OSERDESE3 Modules

Currently, ISERDESE3/OSERDESE3 has maximum frequency support 1600 DDR(1:8) if we want to increase then can we do that?

Thanks,

Welcome to the Xilinx Forum!

The speed of ISERDESE3/OSERDESE3 is also call Component Mode Performance for a UltraScale device and is specified in the device datasheet.  You should not attempt to exceed these speed specifications.

For example, if you are using the Kintex UltraScale device, then Table 23 of Xilinx document, DS892, gives Component Mode Performance specifications.

ISERDESE3/OSERDESE3 were created for backwards compatibility with the ISERDESE2/OSERDESE2 of older FPGAs and use what is called the Native Mode of UltraScale FPGAs.  The speed of Native Mode is faster than the speed of Component Mode and is specified in the device datasheet (eg. see Table 24 in DS892).  You should use the IP called the High Speed SelectIO wizard (see Xilinx document PG188) when working with Native Mode.
