Report RFSoC transmission start or end to external device?

We would like to use ZCU111 and ZCU208 boards to generate custom waveforms repeatedly and trigger external device at the start (or end) of each transmission cycle. We would like to base our implementation on Xilinx reference design to upload the waveforms and start generation. It seems that natural place to detect the moment of waveform pattern re-start in the circular buffer is the "dac_tile_block", but is is unclear what signal is a reliable indication? Is, for example,  TLAST asserted at the end of each generation cycle and we can use that?

I also wonder if J9 connector on XM500, or, perhaps, a faster PMOD connector is a good physical destination to output  such trigger signal?
