I just wanted to well, say big hiphop to Xilinx, for the UltraScale ultra-fast ramp-up. I was not expecting things to just work. We got the PCBs for the baseboard for our Zynq UltraScale+ module this friday and got the ZU9EG working on the base in the same afternoon.
Today I could not resist, I sneaked out to office, did fire up IBERT, did run bitgen, configured the FPGA once, plugged in borrowed displayport cable from office PC, and got IBERT EYE over the cable.
Well sure, things should work. But this time I was surprised. Well this was my first UltraScale board. Was bit interesting to see, will it work? Yes it does..!
Sure we have more things to test out, so it is almost pita that EW is next week, so I can not play with the ZU9 for a all week..

Thank you, I am happy as well.
I was bit "worried" first, does IBERT work on UltraScale+ ?
Does our board work? We did order the baseboard under EXTREME time pressure. So much in the rush that I forgot to order the QSFP loopbacks, I would love to see the QSFP loopback eye at 12.5Gbit, well that has to wait a week this test.
So good wishes to move on to all, the UltraScale+ are coming, coming fast...
