(Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZCU111 Evaluation Kit, Part Number: EK-U1-ZCU111-G)

Hi,

I am conducting a thermal analysis involving the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC ZCU111 Evaluation Kit, Part Number: EK-U1-ZCU111-G; specifically the RFSoC (XCZU28DR-2FFVG1517E). I am looking for thermal information on the RFSoC. Either a thermal map of the hot spots or a layout of the components inside the RFSoC with callouts for power consumption from each component. Is that data available?

Have you seen the XPE spreadsheet: https://www.xilinx.com/products/technology/power/xpe.html

You can analyze the power contributions based on your anticipated design (targeted the ZU28DR RFSoC) utilization and play what-if scenarios. As usual for a programmable device, the dissipated power will be heavily dependent on your design.

Admittedly, that's more for the central component here and not a board-level view. But it is likely the first order main contributor here and the best place to start.
