Hi @ok

According you shared log file (it's not my request...), the partition /dev/mmcblk0p1 is broken.

>[ 13.424684] FAT-fs (mmcblk0p1): Volume was not properly unmounted. Some data may be corrupt. Please run fsck.
Starting udev

So, would you run fsck for /dev/mmcblk0p1 ?

Hi @ok

Refer the following step, if you can mount SD card on linux host.

1. unmount SD card on linux host (ex. umount <device name> (ex. umount /dev/mmcblk0p1)

2. run fsck command on linux host (ex. fsck /dev/mmcblk0p1 or fsck.vfat /dev/mmcblk0p1)

Refer the following step, if you can only prepare Windows host.

1. run cmd.exe as administrator privileges

2. chkdsk <drive name> on cmd.exe console (ex. chkdsk d:)

Would you try it ?

Hi @watari

Understand , i can do but .. before that the question in my mind is.

I have installed tools size of around 28GB in my windows , Still i need linux machine to run sample example means its really bad for Xilinx. Xilinx boards are then not comfortable with windows. Its kind of failure design. Im frustrated with this board. I lost the hope.

Thanks

Hi @ok

Here is my opinion to resolve quickly this issue.

First of all, I suspect broken VFAT table or data on SD card.

# How to fix it.

I already mentioned before, the best way is using linux to repair SD card, if you follow my suggestion.

Because I don't have enough knowledge about it on Windows.

I recommend the followings, if you hardly prepared linux environment as VM guest OS on Windows.

## Prepare linux gadget

I'm sure that "Raspbery pi" which is most famous cheaper gadget for linux is best solution to repair SD card.

You can install raspbian OS which is one of Debian (similer Ubuntu) on it.

Would you consider and try them ?

P.S.

BTW, perhaps the easy way to resolve it is you might change SD card to new one.

Hope it your helps.
