Can I use BBRAM and eFUSE as a storage of HDCP key ?

Jump to solution

Hi all

I'm investigating a capabirity of BBRAM and eFUSE for secure key storage.

Especially, I hope to use BBRAM and eFUSE as a storage of HDCP key.

Can I use BBRAM and eFUSE as a storage of HDCP key ?

If yes, how do I connect it to encode and/or decode video data with HDCP key ?

Best regards,

Hi @watari,

I am hesitant to say that this is possible as it is not a use-case I have looked at before.

If you are using the BBRAM/eFUSE, the intended use-case is really to put the KEY in the bitstream and then use the BBRAM/eFUSE to encrypt the bitstream.

Take a look at PG224. HDCP 1.x v1.0
