I am doing to test the GTX for the HDMI link using IBERT on kintex 7, as I found about the Ibert, it provides the PRBS data for the TX side and it is able to confirm the TX data using RX checkers. the IBERT test is worked when I checked the SDI interface link using the IBERT(There are 4 SDI channels attached to the one Quad on my testing board), but for the HDMI interface the IBERT test is different because the HDMI link also needs TMDS clock in addition to data, I think this is why I don't have the link in the IBERT and the link status shows no link. while doing the internal loopback the IBERT shows the link 2.97 Gb/s.
Does anyone know how we can test the HDMI link interface using the IBERT and might be a reference design or any other documents that could be useful ??
