Dear expert.
I'm designing the 4K HDMI (60Hz) with TX only.
I wll use the Video Phy Controller with HDMI 2.0 IP.
Video PHY Controller don't have the reference clock indicator. this have only the number of pixels per clock.
I guess that the clock is 297MHz(gt referecnce clock) . However, I guess that the pixel per clock is related to reference clock speed.
What speed we can give to gt refence clock with 1 or 2 pixel per **bleep**?? (example, 148.5Mhz or 297Mhz or 74.25MHz and so on)
There was no comment about the reference clock(GTH3) on the datasheet.
I will do not use the PLL for reference clock due to TX only. I guess that I don't need to use PLL with recovery clock method.
Thanks,
