How to read image from sd card with help of graphics overlay in OSD IP?

Jump to solution

Hello,

We are developing demo Application for HDMI input and output. for this we are using PicoZed 7030 board with FMC HDMI daughter card. We are referring FMC-HDMI-CAM + PYTHON-1300-C Reference Design Tutorial from zedboard.org. In this project Video On-Screen Display (OSD) Ip produces output video from external video sources (i.e HDMI,Camera input) and internal graphics controller.

In our project We want to use 3 layer of OSD.
layer 1 for HDMI Input and output. 2nd for text generation using internal graphics controller and 3 rd one for image overlay(read image from sd card).

Layer 1 and 2 is works well we tested it. Meanwhile we want to read image from sd card using 3rd layer of OSD Ip. We don't found any information on how to image overlay using OSD. Like which format to use while reading image from the Sd card?

Note : We are using OSD Ip beacuse it used for text generation and graphics overlay. We know OSD IP has been discontinued but we want to use it anyway.

We stucked really bad. If anybody have information or project related regarding this please share, we'll be very helpful.

Thanks in advace.
