SMPTE SD/HD/3G-SDI 3.0

Jump to solution

Hello, I am using the Zinq Ultascale+ MPSoC and looking at the SMPTE SD/HD/3G-SDI 3.0 IP core for SDI Video.

https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/ip_documentation/v_smpte_sdi/v3_0/pg071-v-smpte-sdi.pdf

In Vivado I don't see this IP Core available what am I doing wrong?

I only see UHD-SDI Audio and UHD-SDI GT.

Thanks,

Joe

Hello @joe306 ,

PG071 describes the supported device.  From that table, I don’t think Zynq UltraScale + MOSoC is supportd.

PG289(SMPTE UHD-SDI TX Subsystem) and PG290(SMPTE UHD-SDI RX Subsystem) are supported instead.

Best regards,

kshimizu

Thank you very much. I will look into the UHD-SDI GT IP. Do you know if the IP can support 4 TX/RX streams or only TX/RX?

Thanks, Joe
