VCU IP 'Most demanding stream'

If we use video controller with 8 channels simultaneous encoding. Should all the channels be identical in resolution/frame rate/color depth/color format? Can we use some channels with throughput less than the most demanding stream?

Hello @hakyemez

There is no such known limitation.

You can run different resolutions with different  frame rate, color depth and color format.

The only limitation is the bandwidth of Encoder engine.

processing video streams using the H.265 (ISO/IEC 23008-2 High Efficiency Video Coding)
and H.264 (ISO/IEC 14496-10 Advanced Video Coding) standards.

It provides complete
support for these standards, including support for 8-bit and 10-bit color depth, 4:2:0, 4:2:2,
and 4:0:0 Chroma formats and up to 4K UHD at 60 Hz performance.
