regarding the xilinx block bit basher and simulink block bit extractor

In the matlab 7.1 the bitextractor block in simulink is not extracting the bits as specified.Its outputting whatever input we are giving.What might be the problem with that.
Can anybody please help me regarding this.
and the xilinx bitbasher block is also behaving like this.And the help file given is not clear and there is no proper syntax also there.If we have given a specified range of input it is outputting different values.waiting for the reply.

The BitBasher System Generator block does have sufficient documentation to assist in using this block. Without a more detailed description of the incorrect behavior there is no way to determine what causes this. If this is something that needs additional assistance I would suggest opening a webcase at www.xilinx.com/support.
