what is the relationship between file size and sampling theorem?......

hi all.....


I have open the Matlab, then i type the command to the command window in matlab. The command are follow:
siz = wavread('audio48kHz.wav','size');
[y,Fs,bits] = wavread('audio48kHz.wav');

Of course, the wav file i have attached must in the Matlab current directory....

Then click the workspace tab.... the second picture shown as below:

Fs 48000
bits 16
siz [430242 1]
y [430242*1 double>


i have question here:

1. why 430242 * 2 ?

2. acording to sampling theorem, Fs >= 2 fn

which one is Fs and which one is fn..... the image was
shown in the image..

3. How to relate with sampling theoem with size wav file?




i have attach the wav file and the images......

any pro can help?

This question is better suited for The Mathworks since it is regarding their functions.  I don't see any reference to the Xilinx blockset, IP, etc.  Please contact the Mathworks for help with this.
