DisplayPort Subsystem, 120Hz

Jump to solution

Can anyone confirm if the DisplayPort Subsystem IP is capable of transmitting at 120Hz?

I'm looking to transmit Y-only (monochrome) at 1024x768.

Thank you

@frederickw ,

The DP TX Subsystem supports Y-only and @watari  is correct that it will also support 120Hz.

Keep in mind that Y-only pixel mapping is different.

Also, you will need to use the driver API to set the colorspace.

See:

u32 XDp_TxCfgSetColorEncode(XDp *InstancePtr, u8 Stream,
		XVidC_ColorFormat Format, XVidC_ColorStd ColorCoeffs,
		XDp_DynamicRange Range);

Thanks,

Sam
