Does Vivado 2018.3 SMPTE UHD-SDI Transmitter Subsystem support 12G SDI without axi-lite?

Jump to solution

I'm using Vivado 2018.3.

Now I've faced one question that the SMPTE UHD-SDI Transmitter Subsystem could not run properly at 12G mode after it was configured without axi-lite interface.

I configured the sdi_tx_ctrl[6:4] to 12G tx_mode. The wave from the TX_Bridge showed that it worked not right.

The sdi_ds_in_ds1 to sdi_ds_in_ds8 always stuck at 0 state.

If I set the sdi_tx_ctrl[6:4] to other value as 3'b000, 3'b001, 3'b010. It could work fine. But it could not work right when the sdi_tx_ctrl[6:4]  value was set to 3'b100 or 3'b101.

Anybody know that how to configure the sdi_tx_ctrl port to let the IP run properly at 12G mode? May be it need some more point to set?

Thanks for your help.

I've fixed it. It could work right after 2 frames transfered.
