H265 -> output data stream

Jump to solution

Trying to find information on what Xylinx can do with video. Looking to do the following:

4k sensor-> co-processor OR encoder OR SOM or something that does H265 -> output data stream // stream input -> H265 decoder -> video output.

All of this at under 100ms or lower and with very little power draw.

Hi @apatro ,

You might want to look at the ZynqMPSoC EV devices which have an integrated H.264/H.265 Video Codec Unit and which can do simulatneous 4K encode and decode.

For the camera interface you could use a MIPI interface.

A good example design is the VCU TRD on the ZCU106 board.

You might want to look at pg252 for information on the video codec unit and the latency.
