Hello Manish @manb,

Please contact your FAE for the pricing information.

The cost of the core will be the same whatever the configuration of the core itself exctept if you need HDCP or DSC.

Just note that if you need Data Stream Compression (DSC) it is done by our partner Hardent, so you might need to pay separate fee. Also if you need HDCP you might need an extra. But you might need to confirm this with your FAE.

Re: IP Core DP1.4/DP1.2

Jump to solution

Hello

Thanks for your feedback.

I found that Zynq-7000 SoC transreceivers supports up to 12.5 Gb/s data rates and this family also supports DP1.2 IP .

My question is how it can support DP1.2 HBR2 speed.? In specificaton of DP1.2 it can go 17.28Gb/s in HBR2 mode.

Thanks

Manish

Re: IP Core DP1.4/DP1.2

Hi @manb,

In the DP spec you can do maximum 5.4Gbps/per lane which is way under the max of the GTs (12.5 as you said).

As you can have for lane, you can do up to 21.6 Gbps (5.4 Gbps). As on DP it is 8b/10b encoded, the "usable" bandwidth is 17.28Gbps (21.6*80%).

Thus yes, the DP1.2 core supports HBR2 on Zynq-7000 GTH.

Hi @manb

What kind of features do you use ?

Unfortunetly, these IPs don't support eDP. They only support DP.

I already confirmed it.

However, I recommend to ask your FAE what you want to support eDP features.

Best regards,
