Jump to solution

xilinx_forum.JPG

I refer to https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/ip_documentation/vcu/v1_1/pg252-vcu.pdf

I would like to transfer the sample files from my computer to my Zynq MPSOC ZCU104.

According to step 2, How to copy the downloaded sample files to /home/root partition of the board?

Hi @sdsocdso1 ,

If your board can access internet, you can just use the wget command from the ZCU104.

If not, what I usually do is download the file on the host machine, copy into the SDCard. Then on the ZCU104, mount the SDCard and use the file.

Regards

Hi @florentw ,

Thanks for your reply.

My board cannot access the internet.

Could you help me by showing the steps in including the file to the /home/root of SD card?

I copied the file to the SD Card, but when I boot ZCU104 board, I cannot locate the file in /home/root.

How do I mount the SDCard and use the file?

HI @sdsocdso1 ,

This is general linux knowledge.

Find the name of your SDcard (/dev/sdX)

sudo fdisk -l

Then create a mount point:

mkdir /mnt/sdcard

The mount the sdcard

sudo mount /dev/sdc1 /mnt/sdcard

Then you will be able to access the content of the SDcard is /mnt/sdcard from the root partition

Hi @sdsocdso1

Here is additional information for you.

After mount and copy, you must execute the following command on except this mount directory.

$ sudo umount /mnt/sdcard

After this command, you can safty eject sd card.
