Switching Resolution on Display Port RX subsystem 2.1

Jump to solution

Dear all,

Does the IP support more than one resolutions?

I mean, in our application we need to support 3200x1200 at 120fps,
but we'd like to know if we can support for example 1600x1200 at 120fps without regenerating / reconfiguring the DiP IP core.

Best regards,

Andrea

Hi @andreac_avnet

Can you use EDID for your application ?

If yes, I guess you can switch resolution on DP Rx IP.

However, even if DP Rx can support these resolutions, I suggest to consider pixel clock and SSC rate.

Best regards,
