Hi

The Fmax cannot be 1.69 GHZ

What is your speed grade?

If you are using the KC705 board the speed grade is -2 and below is the snapshot from ds182 showing the FMAX of DSP48 for different speed grades.dsp48.png

For -2 speedgrade the FMAX is 650.2MHz and it has 840 Dsp's

So GMACs=840*2*650.=1092GMACs  and not otherway around and the Fmax doesn't increase depending on the GMAC requirement.

.

So

Regards,

Satish

Hi,

you can check the datasheet for the switching characteristics details of all the blocks.

http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/data_sheets/ds182_Kintex_7_Data_Sheet.pdf

if you have design you can check the timing report after implemention for the system frequency which your design will work

HI,

What do you mean by "speed of Kintex 7 high speed analogue XC7K325T". Do you mean the max speed of the High speed IO's on kiintex 7? Please elaborate.

Thanks,

Hi;

Could anyone correct to me.

I calculated as shown below for kintex-7 XC7K325T

GMACs= DSP Slice * F max * 2

2845= 840 * fmax*2

Fmax = 1.6934... GHz
