Error when starting SDSoC

Jump to solution

I just installed the SDSoC software and added the licence manually to the vivado licence manager. It said that the licence was added successfully.

When I start the SDSoC, the error mesage pops up. I do not know what exactly is the root of the problem, but I suspect it has to do with the xdlmcheck.exe - which probabply performs licence validation (you can see it running on the background). So, when I close this error message, the other error message pops up saying that no licence was found. (But the licence is valid and is present). Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

@vuppala

I do not know if I can share the licence with public. Also, I do not know how to get a hold of the .txt file you are talking about.

On the other hand, I think I managed to fix the problem. When I first installed the SDSoC, it gave me an error (I do not remember what it was). So, possibly, the mentioned above problem was because of installation error. After I reinstalled the software, it finally let me get to the Eclipse environment. However, I had to start the program several times. Will see how it goes.

report_environment -file env.txt

Thanks,

Vinay
