Execute python code in ZCU102

Jump to solution

Hi,

I'm using the ZCU102 and I'd like to have Ubuntu in the PS and execute a python script in the PL. Is this possible? I don't know if I need to change the script to C or C++.

Thanks !!!!

But in that case, the python code is executed in the PS no ? And I like to do that in the PL to accelerate it. I don't know if that is possible.

Yes, the demo is executing the python on the APU in Linux.

You want to execute the python code in RTL? You could use C or system C and use the HDL

to convert this to RTL logic to run on the PL. Then use the python to execute this.

I have never tried this though....

You can also look at the pynq solutions as there seems to be some work here that matches your use case

Yes, I'd like to use the PL to execute it as fast as possible. So I will do that, I will convert the python code to C and execute in that way.

Thanks !
