Microblaze application missing includes

Vitis 2020.1

Microblaze design with basic example 'hello world' application. The generated include path doesn't exist and therefore some header files (e.g. xil_prinf.h) can't be found. Screenshot attached showing the missing include path (with the ! symbol) and resultant source files with errors.

If I go to the application properies -> Paths and Symbols, the include directory it can't find is defined by:

${resolvePlatformFile:project=fuzzy_commit,fileType=bspInclude}

Doing a local search for one of the missing headers I found it and added its location as an include:

<snip>\workspace\system_top\CPU_microblaze_0\domain_CPU_microblaze_0\bsp\CPU_microblaze_0\include

This has resolved the source file missing references and I can now compile the application.

Bug?

Hey @adrian.h

I also faced these issues and may be it is a vitis tool bug on windows.

I got error as
files missing  xil_printf.h and xparamters.h

Note : In my case the path of the workspace was very long. The error resolved after reducing the path name.

Looks like your BSP is failing to compile. Do you have a log file you can share to see what the issue here is?
