Xbutil reset how to automate ?

Jump to solution

Hello

Is there a way to reset one fpga card within command line please ?
The known linux command tips doesn’t work :
- printf ‘y’ | xbutil reset
- echo « y » | xbutil reset
- yes | xbutil reset
I have always the question prompt y/n .

If you have a way not to have the prompt that a script can reset one card thanks a lot

Regards

Karim

Hi Karim, with the current version of XRT utilities, there isn't really a good way to do this without the prompt. However with the 2021.1 release of XRT (releasing in the coming weeks), there will be an updated set of utilities that will allow you to use --force to bypass the prompt. You can read the new documentation here. If you need it before the official release, you can try manually building XRT from GitHub here.
