Using opencv in SDAccel

Jump to solution

Hello,

I am trying to run cpp files that invoke the opencv library in SDAccel. The library files are located in these places:

/opt/Xilinx/SDx/2018.2.xdf/include/opencv2/
/opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2017.4/include/opencv2/
/opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2/include/opencv2/
/opt/Xilinx/Vivado/2018.2.xdf/include/opencv2/
/opt/opencv/modules/imgproc/include/opencv2/

However, we are getting this error (pic attached) while running the program on sdaccel. I request you for suggestions to resolve this issue.

Thanks!

Hi pguhan,

Are you using SDSoC or SDAccel? We do have a user guide for using OpenCV on SDSoC:

https://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2018_2/ug1233-xilinx-opencv-user-guide.pdf

If you are just using software OpenCV not xfOpenCV. You need to let the compile tools know where and how to find the library. I think that the section "Using the xfOpenCV Library on a non-reVISION Platform" on that document may help, please just ignore the part include xfOpenCV.

And as pointed by the document "Note: The OpenCV library is not provided by Xilinx for custom platform. You are required to provide the library."

Best Regards,
Jason
