Hi @suo220

What version do you use ?

I recommend to use latest lab tool.

Because of you should use latest BSDL file.

Best regards,

Re: CRITICAL WARNING: [Labtools 27-3421]

Hi @suo220

Did you take care ant make sure JTAG signals ?

If lab tool get wrong IDCODE via JTAG, it recognizes wrong device.

Best regards,

Re: CRITICAL WARNING: [Labtools 27-3421]

Has there been a resolution to this problem?  I am having the exact same problem on two boards that I had been able to program previously.  My part is a XCZU3EG.  Also, both my PS_POR_B & PS_SRST_B signals are good.

Re: CRITICAL WARNING: [Labtools 27-3421]

I just discovered something of interest...

This has something to do with my system being setup to boot from external QSPI Flash.  If I change the jumpers such that I don't try and boot from the SPI Flash I can then program the spi flash.  If I then kill power to the board, switch the jumpers back to boot from SPI Flash, and lastly turn on power it will work..

I suggest you try the above and see if this works for you.

One note:  I did not have to do this initially.  I am not sure why..

Re: CRITICAL WARNING: [Labtools 27-3421]

I have observed this behaviour from time to time. I don't know what steps lead to this, but usually it can be resolved by powering down the device completely. Keep in mind that JTAG provides power too, so you need to disconnect the JTAG in order to completely remove the power.
