Hello,
I am trying to get waveform files from chipscope automatically. By manual, I can take the waveforms using File > Export Data in forms of VCD/ASCII or FBDF:
However I want to take this data automatically by a TCL script or from a file. Do you know how can I do this?
Possibly there is no TCL command for it however I can also use the file that holds the waveforms showed in Analyzer Window.
Thanks.

Still there is no reply. It might be possible in Altera.

That won't help you if you're doing a design with Xilinx devices.
As for the original question, I've never had the need to script ChipScope and I'm not sure if you can do that. But perhaps some careful reading of the ChipScope manual will help?

Yes I am aware. I wrote for comparison. I can try to reach temporary files that holds the waveform data.
In manual there is no tcl support, also ChipScope is very different from ISE programs.
Thanks for reply mr. bassman59
