HOW to use "USER2" in Boundary Scan Chain (ICON parameter in GUI)

Hi, there,

I want to use VIO when I use chipscope inserter at the same time. Then they will both needs a ICON.

So I set the "Boundary Scan Chain" of  VIO's ICON to "USER2", and chipscope inserter to  "USER1".

Implement can end successful in this way. But when I use chipscope pro and connect the cable, I only

found items of "USER1". How can I change to "USER2" in chipscope pro?

I found AR #36901 covers part of this issus. http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/36901.htm

It mentions to set with the JTAG_CHAIN attribute, but I can't find where it is.

P.S.  I kown there is a way to use ILA, and ILA can use the same ICON with VIO, but  I prefer to use

chipscope inserter.

Thanks!

You just need to select which JTAG chain to use on ICON GUI. Chipscope Analyzer will automaitcally find which JTAG chain has Chipscope cores on it.

Port 2 is used by OPB_MDM. You can use 1, 3 or 4.
