I want to generate a .mcs file (for SPI flash) wich containts the fpga bitsream and the microblaze main software (soft.elf).
So i am using IMPACT. I place the bitstream in revision zero offset zero. Then i add my .elf file at offset 0x400000 (the flash is 64Mbit). And when i click on Generate file i get the message :
ERROR:Bitstream:152 - BMM error processing data files.
1) Am i doing something wrong?
2)After that, i'll have to write my own bootloader to read the flash at offset 0x40000 and store the program in DDR ram and execute it. So i need to known how the software is store/organised in the flash (where sections are, where the entry point is, etc...), where can i have documentation about it?
PS: I can't use the integrated EDK tool for flash programming, because my SPI controler is not Xilinx compatible. And the bootloader has to manage multiples softwares stored in flash, so it has to be a custom one.
Thank for helping.

I cant find a 14.3 release of the tools. Latest is 14.2. Where can i get it?
Hope you can help me soon as possible. Thank you!

I am trying to add the user data to SPI FLASH memory, where if the user data is nearly 97k bits, the mcs file is generated. Next i tried to load the 5.7Mbits data to flash. Where i faced BMM-152 error processing on data files. Could any one help to me?
