SmartXplorer: Internal Error 101

I'm trying to run the smartXplorer tool in a 64-bit linux (Centos 6.3) machine but it fails to start, either from the ISE or from the command line. I also check the /var/log/messages file but there is nothing there.

Anyone has the same problem or know any solution??

Thanks.

I forget to tell that I've tried with ISE versions 14.3 and 14.5 and both fails.

Hello,

Please try out the below suggestion:

For Linux Machine:

1) Go to command prompt.

2) Source\Xilinx\14.3\ISE_DS> settings64.csh (Enter)

For Windows Machine:

1) Go to command prompt.

2) Source\Xilinx\14.3\ISE_DS> settings64.bat (Enter)

Thanks,

Yash

Thanks for the response Yash!

I finally found the problem: the smartxplorer tries to conect to the local machine using the hostname, but in this machine the hostname is not associated to any IP address (it suppossed to be 127.0.0.1).

The way I solved the problem is adding the hostname "name" to the /etc/hosts file pointing the 127.0.0.1 IP address. Now, if I ping to the hostname it responds and smartxplorer works correctly.
