hello, everyone. i updated my ise from 11.2 to 11.4 yesterday. after update, when i open chipscope analyzer, there is an error(can't find class com/xilinx/chipscope/analyzer/gui/CSGui). when i open chipscope inserter, there is also an error(can't find class com/xilinx/chipscope/inserter/inserterapp). can anyone tell me why?

Re-installed 11.1 and update 11.4 and its back to working again.
A possible reason it was not working earlier is I had mistakenly uninstalled the Visual C++ 2005 redistributable (that comes along with the ISE package) while uninstalling another Visual Studio from my computer. Hence the class not found error.

I also have some problems when i updated my ise from 11.2 to 11.4.
1. I change the depth of capture from 16K to 32K, when i use chipscope it's still 16k depth
2. I add some signal to my old, but it is not active .

When trying to work with ChipScope in the version 11.4, I get the error "can't find class com/xilinx/chipscope/analyzer/gui/CSGui". Does anyone know the solution for this problem?

It seems that the install has become corrupt and you can follow the following commands to
uninstall and reinstall just Chipscope:
To uninstall ChipScope:
1. Go to Windows Start menu
2. Go to Xilinx ISE Design Suite 11.1 => Accessories => Uninstall Xilinx
ISE design suite
3. Now only select only ChipScope Pro in the wizard.
After the ChipScope Pro is uninstalled, insert the 11.1 CD (or open the
setup file if you have downloaded the image). In the installation wizard
now select only the ChipScope Pro. After ChipScope Pro is installed,
install the 11.4 update on the ChipScope as well.
