FIR Interpolation Filter Behavior

Hi all,

 

I am studying about how FIR compiler works in Vivado HLS 2015.4. My previous thread is about FIR decimation filter now is about interpolation filter. I made FIR filter coefficient on Matlab and using interpolation rate of 6. However, the output is shown in the attached picture. Somehow the value that closes to the input data is reverse valued. Any hint about this? I provided all source code in this attachment.

 

Any help will be appreciated.

Finally, I figured it because of ap_fixed overflow.

Hi @vkanchan,

Yes wrote the code by myself by using Vivado HLS example and modify some params.

FIR coefficient and testbench signal developed in MATLAB.
