How to add C library path for Vivado HLS debugger?

I'm learning UG871, C validation, Lab1

When I run C validation and C synthesis, there's nothing run.

But when I start the debugger and step into the scentence with function 'cos', it shows the error information as follows:

Can't find a source file at "C:/repo/mingw-w64-crt-git/src/mingw-w64/mingw-w64-crt/math/cos.def.h"

So I went to github and found the folder mingw-w64-crt and clone it to my PC, add the folder to environment variable. However, the error still exists. How do I solve this?

Re: How to add C library path for Vivado HLS debugger?

HI @chrismantel ,

Can you please share your HLS version and OS version on which you are working ?

This would help us to check at our end if the issue is reproducible

Hi @chrismantel ,

Thanks for sharing the info.

Although the error occurs what if you click on Step into option continuously ? Does it progress over the code with the values in variables window being updated ?

Re: How to add C library path for Vivado HLS debugger?

Yes, it occurs every time I step into that expression which includes 'cos'.
However, if I do C simulation without launching the debugger, nothing is wrong and err_cnt is 0, indicating sw_result is the same as hw_result.

Re: How to add C library path for Vivado HLS debugger?

Hi @chrismantel ,

It seems to be an issue with windows platform alone as I am able to reproduce it in Vivado 2018.3 on windows alone but not on linux.

I will be checking with the internal latest Vivado build and will share my observations.
